The Quirkycritters project was initiated in 2008 by a software analyst who felt the world could use a little more humor at the time, especially in the midst of a recession.
A way to do this is the creation of funny t-shirts with the objective of generating laughs and smiles.
The printing and shipping of all t-shirts are executed by Printfection, a corporation based in Denver, Colorado. Printfection is an on-demand manufacturing company which uses the latest digital printing technologies, allowing our designs to be accurately reproduced on a wide range of shirt styles and colors.
I started drawing cartoons at the age of five. Even though it hasn’t been consistent over the years, there were always periods of intense cartooning activities that would surface here and there in my life. About a year ago I felt the urge to get back to the drawing board once again.
I have wanted to make t-shirts for a long time. During my engineering studies at McGill University, my fellow students would often request my services to draw illustrations to be printed on t-shirts for a school activity. One of those designs actually won the prize for best t-shirt of the year in 1992 :)
